Music and faith have always played important roles in my life. Whether it was playing in a Christian rock band, rapping during my school’s chapels, or teaching and engineering sessions for students at a local studio, I’ve been navigating areas of music and faith throughout my life. In 2014 I graduated high school, got a scholarship to a music school in Los Angeles, and left my home in Houston, Texas to pursue music. During my time here in LA I have worked with Grammy-award winning producers and artists, released a Christian rap album (https://linktr.ee/marionjohn) , and have had the honor of working as a youth pastor at my local church for 5 years.

I started volunteering with InnerCHANGE in the summer of 2022 and have always enjoyed bringing my passion and love for kids, music, and the Lord to the studio. In 2023 God led me to join the InnerCHANGE Los Angeles team as the Assistant Director for the ICLA Music Collective. I am currently cultivating a music curriculum, strategizing youth outreach, and immersing myself in Central American culture as I continue to serve the youth of Central Los Angeles.
